It was during the free time in theatres and in the hotel rooms that first sessions began. Immediately it emerged a fabulous musical common feeling among them that has developed and it has become the defining characteristic of the trio.
The Chiricosta trio presents a repertoire of jazz music that includes standards of jazz tradition. Particular attention is dedicated to the compositions of Monk, Davis, Ellington, Hancock.
The leader’s arrangements are the result of a deep knowledge of these songs, their language and specific personal improvising skills of the other members with the aim of obtaining the maximum development of the trio potential.
